CHP leader Mansur Yavaş takes leads in Ankara in Turkish local elections 



The Turkish capital Ankara saw the Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) candidate and the current Mayor Mansur Yavaş take an early lead in Sunday's local elections after counting ballots box started. This was reported by Turkish local media.


With 6.32% of the ballot boxes opened, Yavaş got 55.05% of the votes, followed by the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) candidate Turgut Altınok at 37.33%.
